The Swim Studio’s Policies, Procedures, Release of Liability and Fee Agreement

It is critical that you understand all procedures, policies, release of liability, and fee agreement of our school to ensure that each student has a fun, safe and rewarding experience while learning how to swim.

Class times

Classes are 30 or 60 minutes long and held one day per week. A class is held at the same day and time each week. Bootcamps and make-up lessons may be at different days and times.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is billed monthly. The monthly billing may vary depending on the number of weeks in the calendar month. Tuition is billed for the upcoming month on the 15th of the current month. Once you are enrolled in the classes, you will continue to be billed until you notify The Swim Studio your desire to withdraw from classes (see “withdrawing from Lessons” below). Fees (e.g. Annual Family Registration Fees), tuition for boot camps and first months tuition will be billed immediately. Tuition for your first month will be prorated according to the number of classes left in the month and will be billed immediately.

By reserving this spot you are agreeing to pay for your reserved spot independent of your child's attendance. It is your responsibility to make sure that your vacations, appointments and other activities do not interfere with the classes for which you have enrolled. The Swim Studio will offer no tuition refunds for classes missed for any reason. In addition, annual service fees are non-refundable.

Instructor Changes

The Swim Studio realizes that we are dealing with the 3 most important things in your life; your time, your money and most of all your children. Our teaching program is designed around giving each individual exactly what he/she needs at that exact time. Our coaches work as a team. It is common for the manager to make the decision to do a coaching change to help a child get through any roadblocks they may be having. The team coaching environment

is intentional as it provides multiple adults communicating the same information to each child. This deepens the child’s acceptance of the Information. A child needs consistency in communication and information. If someone has multiple sources communicating the same information he/she begins to accept, learn, and use the skills accordingly. In the past we tried to keep consistent coaches but the more we reviewed our practices and results we found that those children stuck on a single coach week in and week out actually have stagnation. We are capable of getting a child not only safe in the water but growing as individuals because of our methods, culture, and encouragement.
