Policies:

 

A parent/guardian MUST be present during the ENTIRE swim lesson. For whatever reason if you need to leave the swim lesson you must take all your children with you. 

 

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellation of a lesson must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson to receive a Make-up lesson (for definition of a Make-up please see below). This includes emailing or leaving a message on the answering machine. The Swim Studio phone number is . 

  2. No shows or failure to notify The Swim Studio within 24 hours is considered a forfeited lesson (including sickness- you should be 24 hour symptom free before coming to a lesson).

  3. If you know of dates ahead of time where you/your child cannot make a lesson, please notify the school when booking/paying for your lessons.

  4. There are NO REFUNDS on unused or cancelled lessons.

  5. Should you choose to take a break, unused lessons will be considered forfeited. 

 

Make-up lessons 

  1. Any lessons cancelled at least 24 hours ahead will receive a make-up lesson. The Swim Studio will make every effort to offer times to best accommodate the student/parent's schedule. This makeup lesson will not be skipped over or added to the end of the scheduled month. 

  2. Once a Make-up or drop in lesson is scheduled it CANNOT be rescheduled at a later date and time. If you cannot attend or miss the scheduled lesson, it is considered a forfeited lesson. 

  3. Typically, make-up lessons take place at an alternate time/day within the week.  In some cases, the make-up lesson will be added after/before the original lesson time, enabling the student to have additional time for his/her lesson.

  4. Make-up lessons not used after 4 weeks will be considered forfeited.

  5. All Make-up lessons will be booked through The Swim Studio and confirmed via email.

    6. We cannot guarantee that your coach will be available for a rescheduled lesson that is not your reserved slot. However, we can guarantee the coach will be up to speed on your child’s progress and ready to have fun and coach them to their ability! 

 

Payments 

  1. Lessons are reserved and billed monthly.

  2. Payments are made via email billing. 

  3. All lesson fees are due when scheduling your first lesson. Lesson slots are only reserved once payment is received. Should you continue with your lessons, all fees are due on the 2nd to last lesson of the month (prior to the 1st lesson in the next month).

  4. If payment is not made by your 2nd to last lesson of the month, your lesson time will be opened up for other students.

  5. There are NO REFUNDS on unused or cancelled lesson.

  6. Credits can be transferred between siblings but they CANNOT be transferred between families.
